STEVE GOLD
20 YEARS IN REAL ESTATE
For nearly the past two decades, Steve Gold has been consistently ranked among America’s top realtors, with career sales exceeding $4b in residential luxury properties. His trajectory has focused on new developments, resales, and buyer representation.
Gold has a stellar track record of selling high-profile, new developments across Manhattan, varying from boutique to over 100 units. Gold was instrumental in selling out new developments such as Pritzker-Prize-winning-architect Zaha Hadid’s only residential project in New York City, 520 West 28th Street, and Five Five Zero–550 West 29th Street, a project that Gold took over, rebranded, and successfully sold out. Gold also took 212 Fifth Avenue to market, where Jeff Bezos ultimately bought a penthouse in 2019, as well as leading sales at 66 East 11th Street, a 6-unit boutique condominium where Leonardo DiCaprio purchased a unit and Gold sold the penthouse for a then-record-breaking price of $26,133,000.
Currently, Gold is overseeing sales at One High Line, which has gained international media attention and was lauded as the top-selling new development in Manhattan by dollar volume and average price per square foot in 2023. One High Line is the 236-unit condo designed by Bjarke Ingels and developed by Witkoff and Access Industries, where Gold brokered nearly $900m in sales over the past 18 months, including the contract for the $52M penthouse. This transaction will undoubtedly rank among the top downtown sales in New York history after closing.
Gold is active as a resale and buyer’s broker, having a hand in some of NYC’s most high-profile sales, including representing the buyers for the penthouse at The Four Seasons Residences Downtown and the seller of the record-breaking penthouse at 15 Hudson Yards, among others.
As an international TV and media personality, Gold currently stars on the Netflix show Selling the City. He previously starred for five years in seasons six through nine of Million Dollar Listing New York, the Emmy-nominated hit series on Bravo.
Before real estate, media, and television, Gold had a successful career in the fashion industry. Born and raised in nearby Stamford, Connecticut, Gold studied at the Stern School of Business at NYU. He is an avid skier who enjoys winters in Aspen and playing hockey at Chelsea Piers in his downtime.
