Since people are always asking me about real estate and lifestyle matters, we introduced a light and fun monthly Q&A about all sorts of topics.
Home projects to contract now to be ready for season.
“Fall is a perfect time to take an overview of critical house basic systems to assess future life and functionality for the coming season. I’ve experienced those 90-degree days on holiday summer weekends when all of a sudden, there’s no hot water, no air-conditioning and a refrigerator that simply dies. It isn’t too early to start lining up those appointments for early in the year.”
Is spending Fall in the Hamptons on the rise? As a native, my thoughts on Fall then and now.
“During COVID-19, there was an attention brought to our region with an incredible influx of temporary but also new permanent residents who have now learned what it means to spend the Fall season in the East End. The late afternoon skies, golden grass marshes and ease of getting around have been embraced by thousands.”
Tips for workouts while enjoying the Fall weather.
“Whichever sport best clears your mind, body and soul, they can all still be enjoyed outdoors during this month! Whether on the golf course, racket sport court, fishing the bays and oceans, or exploring the miles of biking and hiking trails, participating in one way or another is important.”
My Thanksgiving must-haves.
“Whether we are hosting at home or are fortunate to be invited as guests for the holiday, I insist on roasting my own turkey and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. A day with memories, family, friends and loved ones is what it’s about for me.”
