As we enter summer, what is the buyer’s market like?
“Inventory is low in general, and there’s a strong buyer pool waiting on the sidelines. Well-priced homes in very good condition are seeing immediate attention, and those properties are selling in fewer days on the market. It’s a very efficient buyer-educated market.”
What’s your advice for those who find it difficult to decide which town to purchase in?
“Spend time in the logical two or three that most suit your lifestyle. Ask yourself these questions: Where are our friends? How much time will we spend in the East End in season and out of season? What are our favorite restaurants? Ocean or bay? Boating access? What golf, tennis and social clubs do we belong to or plan to join?”
My ideal Memorial Day weekend.
“Staying local with family and friends. Enjoying a day on the boat, lunch out and grilling dinner at home. SoulCycle at least one morning. Staying off the roads.”
My top three favorite restaurants in the Hamptons.
“American Hotel, Sant Ambroeus and Bridgehampton Inn. I also look forward to trying new places this summer.”
