Since people are always asking me about real estate and lifestyle matters, we introduced a light and fun monthly Q&A about all sorts of topics.
Holiday tips for the Hamptons.
“Marders in Bridgehampton has wreath-making classes as well as other wonderful holiday items, and there are many other shops and garden centers around town for purchasing all kinds of items. Sweets from Tate’s Bake Shop and The Golden Pear’s Christmas sugar cookies also make for delicious eating and gifting.”
Where I’m spending the holidays.
“Most of my family will be in Newport, R.I., for Christmas, and we will spend the holiday enjoying our children, grandchildren and beautiful city.”
As we wrap up another year, my comments on the Hamptons’ real estate market.
“Our real estate market is ending on a strong note with a more settled buyer pool. Financial markets remain strong, and it’s nearing the time when we see investors pivoting and diversifying their assets, often into Real Estate.”
My New Year’s Eve plans.
“New Year’s Eve is still up in air, though we did enjoy celebrating last year with friends at The River Café…a good old standard. A few days after, we’ll travel to Vermont to spend time at Stratton Mountain Resort. I am hoping the snow continues to come down by the foot up there, and the weather stays cold.”
